The view from the balcony was lovely
The room was badly furnished and decorated, it was like a youth hostel. When we arrived the reception had no lights on and when the young man asked for me to fill in the forms I had to request the light be turned on. They were definatley trying to cut corners. There wasn't enough milk at breakfast for my cereal and when I requested more the mother was quite rude to me.There was a resident dog that lived in reception/kitchen along with 2 million flies. We paid for 2 nights but left after the first night. We thought the hotel was closer to the Matterhorn that 2hrs drive.

Hotel owned by Dutch family. Very friendly and warm atmosphere and felt at home at once! For non-Dutch speaking guests, English is also spoken. Able to play board games provided by hotel in a nice and cozy diningroom. Very friendly and hospitable service.
Price of food a bit high for the simplicity of the dish and for the quantity given.

It was family run and just a great place to stay. The countryside was absolutely gorgeous. Kind of off the main path, but worth the drive.

Nice location and friendly owners. Rooms are pretty good.Really good value for the money.
By accident we peeped into the kitchen. It looked a bit dirty and disorganized. I prefered to eat outside. I would however stay in that hotel again for sleeping and breakfast only.

This is a family-run hotel with an very cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The Dutch owners are very friendly & flexible and accommodating to every need. The evening meal is exceptionally good and outstanding value for money.
For those arriving by public transport, it's a bit of a hike to get to the hotel but a small price to pay for a truly excellent place to stay!
